This is a cool 207 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of Argentinian artist Diego Mazzeo's steampunk digital artwork. Our puzzle pieces are themed to the artwork with steampunk whimsy pieces and an irregular gear-shaped edge (which cuts out much of the white border area). NOTE: The irregular edge is not shown in the image on the box! Puzzle design by Tara Flannery, Ben Goldman and Jim Muller. The puzzle is harder than average. Like all our puzzles, the pieces are laser-cut and are 1/4 inch thick wood. Packaged in a small blue box with a magnetic clasp. Made in USA.

Review: This was my first wooden puzzle (and I've only done Artifact so far) - such a great intro! I didn't think I would love it as much as I did because I'm not really into steampunk but I was wrong: it's awesome! And the art is beautiful. Definitely tricky. Lots of fun gear-shaped pieces and, as others have said, the surprise makes it all the more fun to assemble. Highly recommend.

Review: Saw this one in my local shop and ignored it at first because I thought the image looked weird. I bought a different Artifact Puzzle and after enjoying that one, decided to come back and get this one, especially after seeing it recommended on one of the blog posts here. This one was absolutely fun to do. It gave me Victorian steam punk vibes. I loved that not only were there a lot of whimsical pieces, but there were a lot of geared theme pieces and shapes throughout the puzzle as well as on the image. This was a really well designed puzzle that I look forward to doing again and again. The very first time took me about four hours, but that was with no visual aids.
